Windows Insider is a program Microsoft to test Windows 10 before being released to the public. Users who are registered with the Windows Insider program can install or try new features on Windows 10 and provide input to Microsoft so that it can improve the performance of Windows 10.
Open Windows Insider Program in Settings > Update & security > Windows Insider Program, which contains settings for receiving Windows 10 build previews.
So if you are not registered and do not want to use the Windows Insider program on Windows 10, then this menu will certainly not be useful. If you want, you can use a little tweak to remove Windows Insider Program from Settings.
How to Remove Windows Insider Program Windows 10 from Settings
- Press Windows key + R > type regedit.exe > OK.
- Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\UI\Visibility.
- On right panel, right click then choose New > DWORD (32-bit) value then create name HideInsiderPage.
- Double click on HideInsiderPage then change Value data 1 > OK.
- Close Registry Editor.
After it, you can immediately open the Update & Security page in Settings. If successful, the “Windows Insider Program” will not appear.
