  1. Press Windows key + R > type regedit > OK.

  3. Expand folder HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell.
  4. Delete the entire BagMRU and Bags folder.
  5. Open File Explorer again.

Change the size of virtual memory

  1. Open File Explorer. (Windows key + E).
  2. Right click on This PC > Properties > Advanced System Settings.
  3. In Performance Options click Change.
  4. Uncheck Automatically manage paging file size for all drives then select the Custom size option.
  5. Enter the Maximum size in MB. Good practice is to keep the virtual memory x1.5 larger than your RAM memory.
