How to add a bookmark

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Go to the site you want to visit again in the future.
  3. To the right of the address bar, click Star.

How to find a bookmark

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More > Bookmarks.
  3. Find and click a bookmark.(Ctrl + Shift + B)

Edit a bookmark

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More > Bookmarks > Bookmark Manager. (Ctrl + Shift + O)
  3. To the right of a bookmark, click the Down arrow > Edit.

Delete a bookmarks

Note: After you delete a bookmark, you can’t get it back.

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More > Bookmarks > Bookmark Manager. (Ctrl + Shift + O)
  3. To the right of a bookmark, click the Down arrow > Delete.

How to organize bookmarks

Rearrange bookmarks

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More > Bookmarks > Bookmark Manager. (Ctrl + Shift + O)
  3. Drag a bookmark up or down. You can also drag a bookmark into a folder on the left.

If you use the bookmarks bar, you can drag your bookmarks into the order you want.

Put bookmarks in folders

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More > Bookmarks > Bookmark Manager. (Ctrl + Shift + O)
  3. At the top right, click More > Add new folder. Note: If you use the bookmarks bar, you can add a folder by right-clicking the bookmarks bar. Click Add Folder.

Alphabetize bookmarks

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More > Bookmarks > Bookmark Manager. (Ctrl + Shift + O)
  3. At the top right, click More > Sort by name.

How to find a lost bookmarks

Note: Deleted bookmarks can’t be recovered. If your bookmark is missing for another reason, try the tips below.

Step 1: Sign in to Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. In the top right, click the name or People.
  3. Click Sign in to Chrome.
  4. Sign in with your Google Account where you saved the bookmark.

Step 2: Show bookmarks bar

If you usually use the bookmarks bar, make sure it isn’t hidden:

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More > Bookmarks > Show Bookmarks Bar. (Ctrl + Shift + B)

Step 3: Check bookmarks folders

New bookmarks are saved to the last bookmark folder where you saved a bookmark. Check all your bookmark folders:

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More > Bookmarks > Bookmark Manager. (Ctrl + Shift + O)
  3. On the left, open each folder and look for your bookmark.
